Outfit - Cactus Tees in Spring
Spring is the weirdest time of year to get dressed, right?  Especially this spring.  The best piece in your closet arsenal is a denim jacket. You can wear one with literally everything except jeans of the same color.  Sometimes I break that rule, too...

Midi skirts are also a great choice for this time of year.  Add your midi skirt and your jean jacket to your favorite tee and ballet flats or wedges.  Then you are set to layer a coat on top or strip down to the tee & skirt to adjust for those crazy pants weather changes.  xo, Mallory

Okay, I'll admit it.  I haven't blogged here in 2 years.  BUT I'M BACK!  I thought the best way to come back was featuring the outfits you lovely ladies have worn featuring items from Shop Mallory.

Photos of: Kim of Leeta Ruth, Taylor, Eliana & Alyssa, Lauren B., Valerie, Natasha, Lauren W., Amanda, Kate, & Stephanie.

Look at all these lovely gals (and Brian) in Shop Mallory designs!  Also, did you know I do custom pieces like the Christmas skirts I made for Lauren & myself?  There are a few others in the mix above, too.  Send me an email if you want something custom made: mallory@mallorymakesthings.com

Oh! The most exciting thing this year is the last photo.  Tori Spelling posted a video of a package we sent her on Instagram Live!  The internet is so weird.

Tree Decorating 2015
IMG_6508.jpg

Every year my sisters, brother-in-laws, and nephews go to my parents house to decorate the Christmas tree and make dinner for my dad's birthday.  It's one of my favorite traditions.  The men end up watching TV while the ladies and my nephews unwrap the ornaments, reminisce about when we got them, and put them on the tree.  Then we all play games, eat snacks, watch Christmas movies, drink Christmas beers and cocktails, then eat a giant dinner complete with cake.  A perfect day.  What are your favorite Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Solstice traditions? Love, Mallory
