New to Me Vintage Table
Brian and I have been slowly collecting furniture, dishes, etc. for when we get a place together. We are getting married in May. It seems smart to start collecting while we find pretty, affordable things. That way we aren't spending full price price on a whole place, all at one time. I found this perfect, retro 60s formica top table on Craigslist for $50! It has a leaf, so it should fit wherever we live.
It wasn't quite perfect, so where there were nicks in the legs my mom and I used a Sharpie. The top needed a really good scrub with a Magic Eraser to get some paint spots up. Then we buffed the top with Mothers Cleaner Wax Paste
. Wax on, wax off. I'm pretty excited about how it looks! I also got some chairs at the Burlington Antique show last October. I spray painted them matte black today, so I think they'll look amazing together. -Mallory
