Tuesday Tunes - Spring on my Mind
Hello everyone. I hope you are having a
great beginning to your week. Here in the midwest we've gotten some
snow, and it's terrible because we're all ready for Spring. I've been
trying to listen to upbeat music to make it feel more like Spring in my
mind. Here are a few of those songs.
Robert Delong - Just Movement
I feel like a lot of you may
know Robert Delong already, and that's perfectly fine. It's kind of funny
because I don't like to dance very much (unless I'm goofing around,
which I do often. Ask Mallory), but I love dance/electronica music. I
especially like the songs "Just Movement" and "Happy" off of this
record.
Sufjan Stevens - Come On! Feel The Illinoise!
I used to not be a very big fan
of Sufjan, and then a few months ago I decided to give him a second
chance because all my friends were so in to him. I've especially been in
to the "Illinois" album. Also, he's got some really crazy song names,
and I find them to sometimes be hilarious.
Feist - I Feel It All
This is probabaly my favorite
Feist song. I'd really like for it to make our wedding playlist, but I'm
afraid too many people won't know it, and then won't hit the dance
floor. If you're invited to our wedding, listen to this song, and show
off your dancing skills. I'd love to see people figure how to dance to
it.
Here's to better weather and baseball season starting next week! Go Red Legs! Brian.
p.s. from Mallory: Dear Brian, I take this as an apology for all the times you ragged on me for liking Sufjan. Thanks.
