1. Too Faced Glitter Glue all over the eyelid as a primer. She also filled in my brows a bit with MAC shadow in Wedge.
2. She used a creamy shimmer shadow from the Urban Decay Naked Palette as a base and to provide some dimension.
Urban Decay Naked 2 palette (she tried a Mac one first, but it was pale so she switched). Now here is the important part: she tapped her brush to make sure there wouldn't be any loose pieces that would drop onto unwanted spots. She quickly did the outline of the shadow cateye using the angled bristles to her advantage. Not so scary.
4. Next she got out a softer brush to blend the shadow inward. When you blend it will get lighter, so you may need to redo steps 3 & 4 to get a darker color. Building up is better than going crazy on the first try.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Liner to line my lid right above my lashes, winging up to meet the shadow outline.
6. We also used an Urban Decay lipstick that is apparently discontinued, but you can use any great natural color. She also threw on some Hard Candy blush, Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara, and some Benefit Watt's Up highlighter in a C shape from the end of the brow to the top of the cheekbone.
