Gallery Art Wall - DIY Batman Art
Brian has been living in our apartment for almost a year and a half.  To keep the place feeling fresh we've been rearranging our art, accessories, and such.  We can't really move the furniture to any other configuration in the living room than we have, so moving other stuff around helps a lot.  A few months ago we took down our big Printstagram posters to start creating a gallery wall.  We've slowly been adding art as we go.

I've repainted that big horizontal canvas three times, but I still don't love it.  What I do love is the rest of the art and the little things on the wall that aren't really "art."  The wood cutouts and other canvases are from Michaels.  We've filled in with these smaller pieces like the green one I painted with a bear, a beet, and the symbol of Battlestar Gallactica (hey-o Office fans).  You can see how to make the sunglasses holder here.  Brian suggested I paint a big Bat Signal, but that seemed a bit too much.  I decided to paint a small one on this wood plaque instead.  He was still happy.

To make his bat signal I started with the inexpensive wood plaque.  I did a pencil outline then carefully painted it in.  Once it was dry I hung it up with 3M Command poster strips.  They're like Velcro, so you can easily re-position things you hang with them.  The majority of the art on the wall is hung with them.  We're still not finished, as you can tell by the blank area above our riverboat poster.  It's evolving, a work in progress, but we're getting there.  ♥ Mallory

Outfit - Feeling Glamorous
Lately I've been feeling stuck in the style rut the end of winter lends itself to.  So, yesterday I wanted to spice it up a bit.  Then, I realized that sometimes all a girl needs to feel glamorous is a little vintage fur.  This is what else I wore: sweater from TJ Maxx, Marni Current/Elliott jeans, Ash heels, and a vintage Saks 5th Avenue bracelet.  Lipstick is NARS Niagara.

I'm very ready for spring over here!  Shorts, tank tops, and skirts are my favorites.  Stay warm until then kiddos.  ♥ Mallory

P.S.  I know fur tends to spark some controversy conversation, let's me lay it all out.  This collar was a hand-me-down, one of about 3 I have.  They've been dead since the 50s so I see no point in not wearing them.  I know the conditions that animals in current times go through for fashion to use fur.  I don't own any new real fur, nor do I plan on buying any.
Wedding Plans - Bridal Wear
My dress arrived at the salon last Friday.  Of course I insisted we pick it up Saturday morning.  My mom, dad, sister Brittany, and her husband John came with me to pick it up.  My dad said he had to turn his head for a second so he wouldn't cry when I tried it on (he's the sweetest).  The bodice is pretty big, but my alterations seamstress worked miracles on Brittany's dress, so I have faith.

A few months ago I saw these Diane Von Furstenberg ballet flats with hearts on the toes.  I want to wear flats since Brian's shorter than me, but the hearts are perfect with the wedding decor.  I waited for a sale (via Shop Style), then purchased them as soon as the sale went up!  My mom and I also purchased veiling for her to make my veil.  I'm so excited! I can wear it all in 136 days!  -Malllory
